Welcome to Sew What!
Where learning to sew is sew fun!
Located in Spanish Fork, Utah, Sew What! offers small-group sewing classes for kids and teens ages 8 and up. Students learn real sewing skills on quality machines while creating a variety of fun projects they can be proud of—clothes, home décor, toys, gifts, and more. With guided choices at each level, students get to pick projects that excite them, all while building on the skills they’ve learned. Sew What! is a supportive, creative place where confidence grows with every project.
Hi, I’m Janet— and I’m so excited to help your kids discover the joy of sewing!
I’ve loved teaching for as long as I can remember—I earned my degree in Elementary Education, raised six wonderful kids, and now have ten amazing grandchildren. I’ve been sewing since I was a teenager, and over the years I’ve taught friends to sew and quilt, and I’ve loved watching them discover just how fun and rewarding sewing really is. That’s what I want for my students.
At Sew What!, kids learn that sewing isn’t scary—it’s creative, exciting, and something they can do. My goal is for every student to feel proud of what they make, confident in their growing skills, and eager to try the next new thing.
